there are plenty of tires out there. my shop always lets me go through their werehouse so i can find one with a deep tread pattern.

but if you have the time do as i do. go on line to tire rack and make a list of tires that have good ratings for what you're looking for. make a list and bring it to the shop.. ask if they have any and if not whats comparable.

well just drive nice and don't drift around corners. you'll most likely be fine. over the best 4 years of rallying i've only got 2 flats. one was while scouting this rally though

One last Item I'd remind folks, if you have an FRS radio, or are a licensed HAM, make sure you bring what you can for car to car communications.
Also don't forget a few pens and maybe a clip board.
I'll provide Rally clocks.

OK so if you aren't going to be at Washoe House, here are two other places to catch up-

Ukiah, about 9:15-9:30 we should be coming through the Redwood Market Chevron which is at the Lake Mendocino Drive exit off 101.

Elk Creek, over by Willows, we should be stopping by there about 2:00PM

And if you miss us there there is a pretty good likelyhood that we'll be at Plaskett Meadows campground by about 3:30-4, but that is not for sure yet.

Indeed... none of the suby specialists were able to squeeze me in yesterday. That's what I get for waiting till the last minute . Can't wait till mid november when I'll have my own shop, lifts, and mechanics... no more of thise running around BS.

Hopefully Rich will be kind enough to share some of these roads with me so I can put these tires/suspension to atleast some use.
