drove by tonight hoping to see a lot of members. NONE. i saw 1 suby. how sad...... kids skateboarding and gettin in the way everywhere. o well i hope you can find another nice spot UgLiEz for a tues night meet. hopefully it wont be taken over again.

Its in a walmart parking lot, big lot, access to 880, good part of town, and san leandro PD don't care about subies other than to smile and wave.

I'm not going to close this thread. Giving up on uckk would be an epic fail.

we need to pick this meet back up when everyone butt-hurtedness goes away and the weather changes. If by then its not crackin, then this thread, and meet will fall away by itself. No locking nessacary.

Not hating here, but I just noticed all the people giving up on this have a join date of 2005 or newer.

This meet has ups and downs, and has for years. Wait it out.

All meets have their ups and downs. During the winter most of the meets die down then pick right back up with the good weather. The other meets that I regularly attend die off in the winter too. I still go to some but not as much as I go during the summer. My frail body can not take the cold as well as I would like it to. I have a join date newer then 05, but this is a great meet. just wait it our as international b says and it will get better. Keep in mind this is the busy time of year for a lot of people. I have not made it to meets really since before spanksgiving because I have had so much going on. So I hope to see you all around some time in the near future...

i just think the location of this meet is what is making it a problem. it is not about dying, it is just what other groups show up that are mostly trouble makers.

So ignore them. If you dont give them the attention they want then they will go away. That is what ricers are, they are attention ******. So if we ignore them then they will leave us alone and go away.

All meets get those sorts of groups that show up. I have seen it at pretty much every meet with the exception of a couple rare cases. Just let them be and continue along.

agreed with ave. for the last two years i have seen the meets cool off during the winter cold/rainy months then pick up in full swing again during the nice weather months...

you know i agree with you about ignoring, but sometimes those people bring us the bad attention from the cops and then it all will get in trouble, good and bad.

uckk = my favorite weekly/smaller meet (compared to many other suby meets ive been to..bay area and colorado) but then again i havent been to uckk in years.

Never saw an RS in the lot I left around 930pm.

This meet isn't dead. Its winter and holidays. I'd come out everywhere week but I got soccer practice starting up again in Jan.

Every time I have gone, the only "troublemaker" is the same retard in a green mustang. Everyone else seems cool, they come over, talk about cars, don't talk **** about others.

I think a lot of you are pre-judging other groups just because they ain't subie owners.

Its a good run, I will continue to go (when its not cold as **** or raining)
