Luckly it's bent on the rear portion of the driver side lower control arm, no where near a mounting point.... so that SHOULD be an easy relacement. I'm going to look at it tomorrow before work. I had never had my car understeer like that before, it was really scary - it just stopped turning and went straight. Luckily I only bent the control arm and didn't even pop my tire. Unluckily a cop apparently saw it, found me at home and held me at gunpoint in my driveway. Now I have a hit-and-run for hitting a curb and driving off after I checked my car. That rocked. Go police! Oh well, I guess lawyers need to eat too.

In the last pic... look towards the back of the control arm... it's totally kinked.
So i went down to the shop to see about the estimate..... just to get the body back to the condition it was in on MONDAY..... all together with new parts, all the labor and everything is $4,000...... that including replacing the control arm. BUT the estimator hasnt gone under that car yet.... that will happen tomorrow (friday). But My friend at the shop says he wants to do all new driver side suspension/steering/brake components to make sure that nothing is wrong.. including the x-member (thanks wombatsauce). So I'm on the verge of it being totaled.... i'll find out tomorrow.
If that ends up happening here's some the cars I'm thinking of looking into.... remember this is on a budget!

-Old Skool RS (if i can find one cheap enough..... 2 door of course)
Give me some ideas especially if it dows get totaled and you guys know someone with a OLD RS that is selling it for CHEAP!
