And as for the meet, man, what a show of hospitality. I used to into the subie community a fews years ago from my vishnu days. My friend (who didnt drive his wrx) and I showed up with my S2000 and no one showed me the time of day. Everyone stayed to their own clicks and didnt even bother to say Hi. A few ppl looked at the car, but didn't say anything to me, maybe they didn't realize it was mine. I tried talking to a few ppl who seemed somewhat nice, other than that, no love for me.
Well, we could only take so much of the no-love, so we went to go get food shortly there-after. haha. To whoever comes out tomorrow on Thur, I'll see ya then

I dunno about you, but when I show up for a meet, I don't just stand there, wait, and expect for people to stop what they're doing or interupt their conversations just to say hi to me. I just make my rounds to spots at the meet to say hi. If someone walks up to a group and initiates a "hi", it's common courtesy to acknowledge them then. I used to roll up in a broke *** 92 Integra back then and I had to muster up the courage to walk up to a group of Suby owners to say hi or ask questions. So, what you drive shouldn't be an excuse not to walk up and say hi. I say give the meet another shot unless you did all you possibly could, then I dunno man. I didn't get there until 9:30.
What the heck's with these pity trip posts on this thread? It didn't bother me at first, but some people are making us out to be a buncha arseholes or something. Anyway, I hope those SE-R guys and the silver WRX had a good time without any problems at Calaveras. Let us know what's up! =)
