Hey All,
So I just got off the phone with the manager of Amato's, and he seems to be seriously enthusiastic about the idea. This is a meet that myself, Al, and a couple others have been kicking around for a little while now as a alternitive for those in the south bay to UCKK. It would be Tuesday nights at Amatos Cheesesteaks in San Jose by Saratoga. For those of you who arent enlightend into the world of Amatos, they are by far the yummiest(and largest)cheesesteak's/sandwiches *evar*. This week is looking like a trail run to gauge interest and see how well it goes. I guess they close at 9 or 9:30, but if there are people there and it is still popin, he said they could/would stay open.

Yay! I think its official we are now a weekly meet. I should be droping off some flyers for aproval ASAP.

 

Would a monday or wednesday night have not worked for this meet?

 

wow alredy people trying to change things. lol good luck! i dont know if i'll make it out. i'm driving the old saab again these days. as some of you already know... three out of five modes of transportation are in the shop being fixed. when it rains it pours!

 

you wouldnt understand Zoeb....LOL....seriously tho....its an alternative meet, us South Bayers dont always feel like driving the 30+ miles to go to UCKK for an hour or two, then come back home. Its a Tues. night meet for those of us that dont feel like dealing with the traffic and possibly Fremont/Hayward cops on the way to Union City.

I know how the drive goes...its hard after a long day @ work.

Good Luck with it..who knows maybe if it works out we'll have a caravan from UCKK 1 night.

No hard feelings, didnt think you were trying to start anything. ^_^ And yeah, come on down if this gets going. The food is great and the people who run the place are great, and a few new heads showing up to support a new meet is always a help.

I have the goahead if you guys wanna give it a shot tommorow night. Ill be there a lil late as I have class till 8:20, but that shouldnt stop everyone from showing up. Anyone with any quesitons feel free to give me a call, -Cameron

 

I'll swing by after class (~8ish). Won't stay too long though. I got work very early the next day. WOW... we have meets from Tuesday - Friday! Crazy! hahaha!
