SERIOUS UPDATE: Only one spot left in A, two spots in B. I will be updating the drivers list later on today. Wow -- this thing is about to close. We haven't had a full house since 2002! This is almost as big as a race day! Wahoo!

25 preferred, but in special cases, I have been known to stretch it to (MAX) 28. Why? Don't tell me you've another A grouper? Lol.

Hi, _just_ found this thread.... was wondering when the next event might be?

I've no experience, so it sounds like I would be in the C group which is closed... notwithstanding that, I would have wanted in at $175... and notwithstanding THAT... at the time of that particular deadline, I was still in japan, and working on the assumption that I would be back in japan before July 18th...

It's a conspiracy. ^^ So now I'm just wondering when the next thing is; I would like to get some track experience and critique/instruction for driving ^^

We won't know our official dates for 2006 until probably next January when the track sends out its list to the coordinators. If we get enough interest, I might bug Thunderhill for another event, if there's an opening. I'd have to collect the monies in advance of the date, though -- in other words, we'd have the money waiting in an account ready to plunge once a good date pops up (somebody might cancel, there might still be an unfilled spot, etc). Otherwise, I can't commit at this time, because I have to foot the bill if the event does not fill. Yuk. Sorry you missed us, though! You are welcome to hang out, though! I talked to the folks from SubieDude last weekend at the NASA races . . . they might show up at the event as a special guest. I haven't heard from them yet, but even if they don't come, there are lots of other Subie owners signed up that you can hang out with and maybe grab rides with. Just let me know so we can order you a lunch (ten bucks), etc..

FINAL UPDATE -- all groups are now CLOSED. Sorry if you did not make it in. Let me know if you would like to be on the waiting list or if you'd like to be a part of the mailing list. Visitors welcome! Also, if there is enough interest, I am pretty sure I can secure one more date for this year at the 'Hill.

One Slot In B Group Open!!!

I just added what I thought was the final B group entry. When I recounted, I found that we only had 24 instead of 25! So, THERE IS ONE B GROUP OPENING LEFT. Put that in caps so that someone will notice. I left the groups as all closed because I am pretty sure there will be a battle for that spot, and that it will be filled overnight. So if someone wants that slot, you best email me asap . . . first come, first served. This is a good time to be a PayPal customer. Lol.

Anyway . . . this is the largest crowd I've ever seen, and I know all the work put into this will be well worth it when I get to see you all smile. See you all very soon . . . bring sunscreen!

Go for it Max . . . but at this point, we can't take deposits anymore 'cause it wouldn't be fair. So send in that moolah and for now at least send me your basic car info and full name . . . send registration form later (or via email -- I can always fill it out for you here at home). As soon as you do that, I will post your name to the B group list and call it a closed group. I will hold your spot until Tuesday for sure.
