I'm interested, It'd be my first tracking evar, so all subarus would be pretty awesome, tho the wrxs would kill my poor 2.2L OBS!

I go out with ncracing a lot, but never have been to an unlimited laps event. But I'm down to go. Isn't 55 cars a lot though?

I-Club had 60 or so at Buttonwillow.

We may be able to get by with a little less if we get some sponsors.

55 is a few cars but they break it down in three groups of approx. 20 each +/- . So, 20 or so cars on the track at once would not be that bad. If we don't have enough cars for the advanced (red) group it may be possible to have two yellow groups (maybe Yellow A & B) instead of crowding the yellow and green with more drivers.

Good start everyone. Thanks for the support.

This was brought up jokingly in another thread, but I want to clarify:

Hey, great start on getting i-Club sanctioning there Mikey...

We need 55 cars. There are Suby owners who don't visit i-club as regularly as some of us. Lance and I are trying to get as many folks involved as possible. When Buttonwillow happened, it was posted on several other boards even though it was just an i-club sponsored event.

Besides, the other sites link directly to the thread on i-club, so it may help bring in some new members.

In addition, I have forwarded a link to this thread to Alex to see if he would support this as an i-club event, similar to Buttonwillow. As most of you know, the Buttonwillow event was very successful and all who attended had a good time (except me at home nursing a broken third gear ). Now we have an opportunity to drive one of the best tracks around and I'd like to see as many folks as possible get that chance.

Looks like 15 potentials so far. Great start as Mike stated. I’ll be speaking with unlimitedlaps today to get more details on how things will work depending on the number of cars and any sponsors that attend.

I've sent this link to several of our local vendors, so we'll see what comes from that.
