I am thinking about going to just to check it out, however I have some questions and hoping maybe you all could help me find answers to them.
1. Is there a fee to watch this event? Like some sort of entrance fee?
2. I know there are several hotels near the track but what is up with the "over night camping" they are talking about on the website?
I will not race the event but would like to view it. If I do go I'll be driving solo so meeting up with folks would be cool and if someone wants to ride up with me that would also be fine.
I should know by Thursday of my plans..

Well that was quick, I ended up emailing my questions to the Subie Fest site and here are the answers, incase anyone is also interested in knowing.
** If you're watching the event there is a $10 per day gate fee.
** Camping:
The track has agreed to let folks stay in the facilites overnight, however it is not a 'proper' camp ground. If you stay in your car, be sure to bring plenty of blankets. And the gates will be locked (you cannot leave) between midnight and 6:30 am.

I just found what looks to be a blown rightside head gasket. Glad I only made it down to 680 at crow canyon.
I'm very pissed... I need to go vent to my lawyer.. Then taking car over to subaru to find out what else is coming loose.
