lowered an inch? why would you do that!?
I try to keep it on pretty smooth stuff, although some of the things being suggested might not be a lot of fun in a lowered ride.
I do also try to make sure there is a paved alternative to any gravel sections, although there aren't really paved alternates for Usal Road or Mendocino pass.
I have to admit I have my doubts about mendo pass that late in the year, its fine now, I just drove over it today, but up about 6800 feet- there might be snow by mid october.
But last time everyone ventured onto the dirt, so I was hoping that wouldn't put anyone out.

Part of going up there is looking for club rally roads, and that one is WAY too fast up along the top, an open class rally car could easily reach triple digits up there, and the surface does change here and there...
but remember rich, we try to do the TSDs for this event on tarmac, the unpaved is all optional "free zone", so as to not disqualify our friends with their garage queens from the timed competition portion of the weekend.

I figured you to be wanting to hit the rally-x, so I posted an invite on pre-check trips too.
Oh and if someone wants to do the Rally-x but not the school on Saturday, you might be able to drive up with us then cut across 36 to go back to the valley Saturday night.
