Sacramento Raceway on Wednesday Nov. 12th
Anyone feel like getting in another round of drag racing before they shut down the park at the end of November? Should be nice and cool again, good for a few more ponies...
Wednesday Night Drags at Sacramento Raceway.
I'm gonna try to be there when the gates open at 4:30p.m. Admission is $6, with additional $9 to race.

Most, if not all of us, will be there to make passes down the 1/4-mile. Can you get away for an evening? There's Home Depot located nearby in Rancho Cordova.

Although, I've never done a 1/4-mile before. I'm a virgin. I'll probably embarrass myself if I raced!
...but then again, there's a first time for everything!!!

We can give you some pointers, if you like. The main thing to remember is to relax and concentrate on your car and your driving. I treat it as if there's no one in the other lane and I'm going for time, only - no competition to distract me.
Just checked the wife's work schedule...she's not working, so tentatively, that's a YES! I'll be able to make it.
Great, hope to see you there.
If Scott can make it, it might be best for you to meet him at S-Squared and follow him out to Sac Raceway from there. If not, I might still meet you there early. Or, just meet us at the drag strip if you're arriving later.

I know your car is capable of low-13 second E.T.s so, yes, you should bring a helmet along. Your DOT/Snell helmet should be more than sufficient. If not, they have loaners for rent ($20, though!).
