I think it would be badass to go on a little drive also, nothing too big just out towards the coast, nice cruise or something.

Aw come on Huck, ya gotta make it, lol....I'll probably start the coals as soon as the first couple people show up...which is whenever, we have all day, well, at least some of us do, heh. So I'm guessing around 11 ish or so, I dunno, its up in the air.

As usual whenever someone plans something cool duty calls, the city has me 24/7 for that week!
Sounds like fun , not to mention a beautiful place.
When me and the little woman came to ca from italy in 96 our first place to reside was the Loring Heights apts accross the freeway there.Aside from the general population , the scenery was beautiful and we would venture across the freeway for long hikes in the hills .

Sorry I can't make it.

Patrick,

That day is the first day of the two-weekend "Vintner's Festival" down here in Santa Cruz, so I may have to work...

However, I've talked with the owner, and there's some decent chance that I can get the day free anyway, so we'll see. I hope I can be there.

If I make it, I'll bring some of my wines to share and swap .

Later, I hope,
Mike

Won't be able to stay long. Just found that it's Jovan's birthday that Saturday. He turns 9. Yay. Who knows, maybe the BBQ'll be an excuse to take off for a few hours.
