Have you ever looked down that long straight, empty highway and wished you could run YOUR OWN CAR "Flat out" without getting a speeding ticket? Well, NOW YOU CAN!

MKM Racing Promotions has THREE High-Speed Two-Stage Rallies scheduled each year on CLOSED NEVADA HIGHWAYS where you can go as fast as you choose - LEGALLY! The events are 97 to 130 MILES LONG and have speed brackets for every type of car, from Hondas to Ferraris, and even pure race cars. These speed brackets start at 95 mph average speed and go up to a blistering 170 mph average speed.

These events are approved by the Nevada Department of Transportation and the State of Nevada and are conducted entirely on CLOSED Nevada Highways.

So, if you are the type of driver that likes DRIVING your car instead of POLISHING it, these events are for you!

I should have added that part of the fun of these weekends is being on a "Team". As the MKM coordinator for the International Car Club, aka Team Invaders, any foreign made car is welcome on the team. 91 Honda Civic Wagon - Sleeper!

 

Ive been looking into this for a few years, but have yet to make it out. Was going to do it in my old t/a, maybe the rex will be hopped up enough for the job by this summer.....

btw, if you dont want to race you can sign up and be a corner worker, i think they pay like $50 and you get to sit and watch the cars zoom by

 

We had some WRX's out last year - stock and modified. They all had a good time. A couple of STI's and an Evo 8 were at the Texas race in April. So bring what you got and join the fun!

I've been a Course Worker many times. It is a great way to watch the events. And yes, they do pay!

This is event is perfect except for one thing! why cant it be in Cali!!! I might have to join this.

 

California is not so amenable to closing a stretch of highway for eight to twelve hours so that we can drive down it at speeds between 100 mph and 200 mph !!

Nevada and Texas have fewer people, more open space, and are willing to try something different.
