Have you done research on the BOV yet? If you ask me, most people buy one and end up selling it just because it causes more harm than anything. . .but people always go through that BOV stage

The BOV's can actually cause problems in the engine if it's not tuned for. The problem is, with the blow by MAF system there is no way to tune for it. There is no real need for one until you are pushing more boost than the stock turbo can handle. They are also commonly known to cause idle issues too. The stock BPV releases the purged air back into the intake after the maf. The ECU automatically adds fuel because it knows it's getting extra air the MAF did not read when it blows off. If you blow off that air into the atmosphere, the ECU will still add that extra fuel. An extremely rich condition , even momentarily, is enough for a cracked ring land at full boost and full throttle. Don't risk ruining the engine for a mod that gives you zero benefit. Spend the money on something useful.

BOV, you can have it vent back into the motor or vent out (making a psshhhh noise). But like Mark said, it is not too good for the motor by causing a momentary rich condition between shifts (the harm is to the spark plugs for a split second).
