I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but y'all may run into a problem w/ bringing your own grills:
Maybe you could check w/ Daniel about commandeering one of the stations? Or check w/ park staff?

I'm still BBQ'n.......it's a park...I don't see any danger on BBQ'n. Explain why a fixed grill is allowed and not the portable?
