I was talking to my pops last night about racing harnesses and stuff and he was saying that the research now shows that if you are strapped in tightly to a harness you greatly increase the risk of getting a skull base fracture (how Dale Earnhardt died, among other racers). Obv exception is the type of harness Curtis and Stevie have, cuz they have enough stretch in the belts that its not a problem. I was originally thinking of putting Takata harnesses in with a Sparco bar, but without a Hans device it could be a bad idea i guess. Iono, thoughts?

 

Makes sense. Not enough flexibility and too much rigidity will cause damage.

Does anyone know if powder coating the stock bbs' is bad. I think I read a thread about it before on one of the forums. Because if it is cool, then i'd be interested, but depending on the price also.
