Im not telling. I originally started posting here because of my friend Balanz (who DOES have a WRX) who WAS going to come to the meet, but hes not going to be able to make it. And unfortunately for me, my car manufacturers local following is a bunch of tools...tools with two zeros and a capital 'z'. t00lZ

big turnout you say? hope someone has a route planned out. I'll bring my AAA map. Maybe we could even hit up a club after we're done with the drive...just a thought
EDIT: speaking of DVDs: there was someone on iClub who wanted a bunch of Top Gear episodes burned to disc, but I cant remember his name. if it was one of you, let me know

Fun drive, but WAY to exciting there at the end...
mcdrama, I can't tell you how glad I am that you, your girlfriend, and the car are okay. The last thing you want to see when you're at the front of the pack is a sudden lack of tail-lights behind.
I'll go up tomorrow if I can and take some pictures of the skidmards and disturbed earth... should be good. Come by the winery sometime, and I'll give you a bottle of something good, with which to celebrate the fact that you and yours are still in one piece.
Keep those lucky ducks...
Special thanks also to BajaNut, who had the forethought to travel with some tow-straps. (And have a torquey engine to go with them...)

yea i was behind him and seen that wagon push like a **** into that turn i serious thought he was going on his lid riding that hillside the way he did, good job of keeping it on all 4 wheels, it was a blast, for all thos that read this thread and dont think about coming out u suck cause the drive tonight was hella fun except for that one part but yea, i like the meet then take a simple drive idea was cool that a few guys turned out tonight, thanks agian to ben for that dvd going to wacth it right now while my gf yells at me to turn it down lmao
and if you guys are thinking about moving the night i like the idea of a wed night middle of the week plus i got to uckk on tuesday and another meet on thrusday i vote to keep it on friday but that just my opinon wed would be my second choice and ealier in the night like 8ish woot woot fun drive

Thanks again guys. Cant wait for next week. Realisticly Im down for whatever weeknight. I did kinda like the Thursday idea (what with the big TV night and all) but if we'll have better attendance on Wednesday then I vote to do it then.
