Ill have a friend or two coming this week, then a friend with a WRX coming next Wednesday, and once school starts I have two WRX friends that should be able to make every week, and a few assorted others who expressed interest in fun-runs.

Should be a blast...

So is anyone opposed to a 9:30 takeoff time?

I'm going to try to make it next week too. Just waiting for you guys to settle on a time, I'll go along with just about anything proposed so far.

Works for me, but maybe 9 would be better for the early-shift crew. Maybe dinner at 7:30, meet at 8:30, driving starts at 9?

I'm actually one of the most flexible. We should deffinitely get an opinion on this from LongTravel and mcdrama. Theyre the ones who have to get up early...

Im extremely flexible too, but I think the later the safer. Lets let LT and McD speak for themselves. How about:
dinner 8:00
meet 9:00
takeoff 9:30
Unless LT and McD say they'd prefer otherwise (in which case we move it back a half hour). Im not trying to polarize the group, Im just a fan of letting everyone declaring what their preference is and then making a concensus from there.

I can make this work for me. =)

We need to think of places to eat dinner, Denny's isn't the greatest food on earth if you know what I mean. Sushi is good, but expensive ( I am a cheap *** ). Burritos are quite filling and take more energy to digest.
We could always meet at Malone's with the nightly drinkers! Then Scotts Valley PD will want to follow us, thinking "look at all those fast cars, bet they are going to get drunk then wrally in the hills!" hee heeeh heeeeheheheheh AHAHAAAAAHHHAA!!!

It is too early with not enough caffiene in me. sorry.

Excellent. then that will be the timetable. dinner 8 meet at dennys 9 depart 9:30

As far as food...The sushi really isnt that expensive. I think its the perfect thing before a drive. Like you said about the burritos, they'll make you all lethargic and ****. Thats not a great idea when going driving. Last week, my friend got a HUGE amount of chicken teriyaki for $10. A pretty good burrito place usually charges $6-7 for a plate of food. I think its pretty reasonable and the perfect combo for the drive. Japensse food and japanesse cars.

But if you have a better idea, let us know. Ill keep an eye out for alternative places.

There is a really good piza place next to wendies in Scotts valley, as well as a good taqueria next to that. If I remember correctly Gashouse pizza sells by the slice and it is ausome. I have had a breito at the taqueria and it was good, but not the best, but mutch better than the average. Just some suggestions.

since we changed the meet time and place:

NEW THREAD EVERYBODY!!!
https://www.i-club.com/forums/meetings-events-donuts-91/santa-cruz-scotts-valley-meet-drive-wednesdays-9-00pm-69520/
Duo- I figured this would be easier than having you edit the thread. When are you coming back man? Have you been drag racing down there or running canyons?? Cant wait to have you back! And what setup did you go with on the wheels/tires?

Everyone: unless you all think this is a cataclysmically bad idea, start posting up to the new thread. Im going to leave myself subscribed to this thread in case anyone happens upon it, and Ill steer them towards the other thread.
