I'm just back in the door at 12:45.

Dinner was fun, and the drive was a total blast.

For the home-audience: the drive.

Glenwood --> Mtn. Charlie --> Summit Dr. --> Old Santa Cruz --> Schultes --> Redwood Lodge Rd. --> Old San Jose --> Highland --> Mt. Bocche --> (Backtrack to Old San Jose southbound) --> Morrell Cut-off --> Summit (near encounter with sheriffs) --> Hwy. 17 South --> Glenwood cut-off --> Glenwood --> Bean Creek --> SV Dr. --> Mt Hermon --> Grahm Hill --> Zayante Rd --> Summit --> Bear Creek --> Hwy 9 --> Hwy 236 --> Hwy. 9 --> Split up and home.

Hell of a run. I really enjoyed it (personal favorite: squirley dirt on Schultes! Sorry Dom.)


Get this: somewher in the early part of that wonderfull adventure I rolled past 60,000 miles! Finished up the waranty with style!

This was my though of a drive.
From Scotts Valley...
17->Vine Hill->Old San Jose->Sumit->Zayante->Qual Hollow->hwy 9

Then either take hwy 9 to saratoga and end, or go up slick ol' bear creek->Old Santa Cruz hwy->summit->Mt. Charlie.

How many miles was the drive last night and how long did that take? And what was the average speed.

It was me, 1badrex, and Domino, plus Dom brought a friend to ride along. We all met for dinner, and all went for the drive (3cars).

I hope we didn't miss anyone... there was some confuston about meeting at Starbucks or Dennys. We went to Starbucks from about 9 till about 9:20, then headed up to Dennys to see if there was anyone there. No one at either place (although they did try to talk a guy at Starbucks who had an sti into comming along...no go)

I still think Denny's is the better place: too many cops at Starbucks, as we saw.

Lookin forward to next week.

Last night's ride was tons of fun! The dirt action was exceptionally exciting! Plenty of drifting. Can't wait till next week. I agree that Denny's is the better of the two places to meet.

I think its moved to Wednesdays now. There is some confusion about that, though, as there was talk of two meets per week; a weeknight and a weekend. I don't know if that idea had support or not.

I'm assuming that we'll meet again next Wed night. Anyone who enjoys driving their car is welcome.
