I would love to have us hook up with the DCKK crew. but last year we had trouble keeping all of us together going through the city and we lost Huck while getting on the Hwy after stopping in DC.

It would be much easier if we went down 80 to 880 etc..

But maybe we can figure something out. Instead of staying single file while going through the city and through lights. We stagger ourselves out into at least 2 lanes and them MERGE together if we have to. That way i think it would be easier to stay together.

But yes JV i'll be there. Huck says he wants to have several meeting spots throughout Sonoma Co and Marin. so we all don't have to drive so far.

Let's keep this thread alive , we want to see all the North Bay crazies commit themselves to this group by July!
Funny how we haven't heard from the nominee yet!

Since many of us North bay guys are such blabber mouths i dought this thread will ever disappear.

Huck is in New York still.

I bet we'll have a massive group heading down there that day. I spoke with Krinkov this morning and he said he was going for sure.

I resemble that remark!!

BTW, Rich, I never heard back on the route planning for my hometown (Lake County). You interested in having someone come help with the layout, and suggest places to go have some on and off road fun?

Hey Roo hows it going. Ya i'll be going up there in a week or so. Haven't figured out when. But i do know that the drive is taking place the weekend of the next WRC race. Sunday the 16th. Krinkov, and greg say they are helping me out too. But i don't mind having a 4th person with us. I'll post a few days before i go up there so you'll know we are coming. Most likely though it'll be on a weekday afternoon.

OK , huck , is in NY , I'm out of the loop , but that's no problem.
We need a big caravan and as the date gets nearer I am sure we will solidify a time and meeting place(s).
Keep the sign ups coming , and stop evry suby you see to let 'em know.

...Max how could you be so out of the loop my friend. It's the sticky at the top in the main Bay Area forum.

Last year i went and had a great time. Even though i hardly knew anyone there. I knew more of the Daily City crew than i did the North Bay crew. But i guess at that time we really didn't have our shizzle together up here yet and really didn't hang out.

Chances are now, that we have one of the largest groups of regulars that see each other quite alot.

Do you think Imprezer will be going down with us this time? I've still yet to meet the man. "Please Alex i want an Avatar" I was ssooooo close to 1500 posts when they changed it to "scooby snacks" I'm still a little pissed off about that.

Sorry i went off the subject there. I've been thinking about where the Marin County folks can meet up with you people. Now i chose 2 places. Both were picked because of convenience more than beauty.
Choice #1) In Marinwood. Off Hwy 101 at the Marinwood exit. On the Saint Vincent School side in the dirt lot. Easy on/off highway access.
Choice #2) In Mill Valley. Off Hwy 101 at the Shoreline Hwy exit. It's the last exit in south Mill valley. Just off the ramp is an old Bar / Restauraunt i use to go to called the "Fireside" There they have a large parking lot at isn't in use anymore where we could easily meet.

Both of these locations were picked because they are close to the Hwy and you don't have any lights to go through before getting on the 101 South again.

Let me know what you think.

Marinwood if we are going across the Richmond bridge

Mill Valley if we are going across the Golden Gate.

...or whatever.
