In an effort to curb a popular form of street racing known as sideshows, a group of law enforcement agencies in San Mateo County plans to join forces this Friday night to blanket the area and apprehend the culprits.
The Burlingame Police Department will host the inspection operation using more than 25 officers from various county law enforcement agencies who will be conducting vehicle inspections throughout the night.
"It's really not a problem in San Mateo County," said Birch. "But oftentimes a group of a dozen or so cars will meet at either the In-N-Out in Millbrae or Nations Burger in Daly City to discuss it and either meet at a different spot or talk about were they've been and what they've been doing."

i dunno if you remember but my buddie with the audi a4 all tricked out
got nailed tonight (FRiday) on elco, pulled him over for no front plate then saw his stock ecu in the glove box followed by poping of the hood.... got ritten up for no plate and tinted tails, but he said the cops had 2 people in non unifourms pointing out everything illegal (exhause, diverter valve and something called an n72 valve)
so yea keep your eyes pealed it can happen to you if ur cars not legal you've been warned
