Won't be there tomorrow night, I've got other plans.
Anyways, I spoke w/ one of the VW guys last week. Apparently, there was a small group of them parked right next to us and someone had made a remark that they weren't welcome. Honestly, I was disgusted to hear about it and told him that one person's comment does not reflect the opinion of the lot of the group. I'd like to believe that most of us would be accommodating to fellow car enthusiasts.
So, I told them that they're more than welcome to park right next to us Subaru folk. Quite frankly, we're all there for the same reason anyhow. The way I see it, if we treat them courteously they'd be more than willing to oblige and we'd have no worries.
In regards to the police. Well, their presence is well known around this area. Not once have they hassled us and we've had a pretty huge showing the past few weeks. The VW clique has grown in numbers as well and still the police hasn't approached either group. In my opinion, if the police wanted to rain on our parade, they would've done it a long time ago, even if the two car clubs were apart.
Summer is upon us, and I wouldn't be surprised if other car clubs start gathering in that plaza. Let's just chill and keep any negative comments to ourselves and have fun out there.
If anyone has any comments directed to me, shoot me a PM and I'd be more than willing to speak with you in person.
Peace,
Karl
PS... KEEP PACE!
