I am sitting here at our trade show, its kinda slow, but we have Internet access :banana: ! Anyways...it seems like I am getting a pretty good response, so I will start planning the details of this event when I get back home (I return home on May 3).
Dominique...I will probably need some help with planning and getting the word out, your help would be much appreciated. Also, I want to talk with some Vendors and maybe get some raffle prizes donated, plus I will talk to some local speed shops and see if they would like to donate anything as well. I also would like to see if we can get the SJ Mercury out there to do a story on it, if we get a good turnout, it should make for a good story for us.
Start spreading the word for this...anyone that frequents ANY OTHER SUBARU FORUMS PLEASE POST A LINK TO THIS THREAD! The more the merrier, Lets get 100+ subys out at BDG!
Anyways, I should get back to the show.....Enjoy the sweet weather out there (I heard its been in the 90's) and I will talk to you all soon.

ok, Date has been set.....
This event will take place Saturday August 14th, 2004
Food will be catered by Big Dogs Grill, with a classic menu of Hot Dogs, Burgers, and for you veggie heads, Boca Burgers, with all the usual condiments.
I am going to start talking with Vendors to see if I can get any donations for raffle prizes.
I am also going to try to contact the SJ Mercury News, and see if they will come out and do a GOOD story for the paper. And I MAY contact Carandmodel.com, and/or speednchrome.com for more coverage if they are interested.
Also, I have been asked if I want to make up T-shirts for this event, which I am still debating on, but IF so, then each vendor that donates something for the raffle, money, or services will have their logo placed on the shirt as well.
For activities, I still would like to make a pinewood derby race ramp, for some friendly competition for everyone (kids included), and possibly a photo-"arena" for group or individual shots. Other Ideas are always welcome.
I will post more later as I get more details set....gotta go home now.

I'd say around 9:30-10AM, that way anyone that has to travel wont have to get up at 4 am to be there on time.

I am gonna start talking to vendors this weekend to see if I can get any raffle prizes donated. And look into getting the food all squared away, and basically getting the ball rolling.

From what Ted has said, I believe he still is planning on this, but it isn't going to be nearly as big as he wanted because of other things he has going on. It just wont have as many things as orignally planned unless Ted decides to get his booty in gear.
