I went down 35 from 92 last Sunday to a party for a friend in a park near Woodside. There was this 'art fair' or something going on which caused a lot of traffic because there were people with kids (carrying, walking, strollers) on both sides of 35 along with cars parked on both sides - packed with people everywhere so we were going slow. There were some guys on bikes that weren't having any of this 'safety' crap though and decided to speed through the group of cars, people, kids and everything. I honked at one and he slammed on his brakes and waited till I got next to him. He looked at me and yelled "what you ****ing white boy!" This is the second time some jackass doing something stupid has yelled at me calling me a ****ing white boy. Am I missing something? Yeah - I am white but I mean... What of it? Haha... I started out on bikes - started riding when I was 15 and to this day I will never understand why most people on streetbikes on the back roads are such idiots. Anyway, I honked again and he did some move like he was humping his bike - that one was lost on me too - so I kept honking hoping he would come back so we could 'talk about it' but he just sped off between cars and people and kids everywhere - I thought he was going to crash into the parking trolley at one point. Awesome. Be careful out there - not only is it taking risks to drive fast but there are plenty of people taking risks for you. I stopped counting after I saw 10 bikes pass on blind corners...
