Talking This coming weekend: Thai Food Festival and Hokkaido Food Fair!

Hey all you food maniacs all there! Two fun events coming the weekend of September 11-12 (don't let the dates get you down!): Thai Food and Culture Festival 2004 is happening at Park Plaza, 200 West Evelyn in Sunnyvale, 10am to 5pm. Free Parking, free admission. Thai food, folk dances, folk music, tropical fruit carving, massages, antiques, Muay Thai, souvenirs, gifts and more! www.thai-festival.com

Also, Hokkaido Food Festival at Mitsuwa Marketplace, 675 Saratoga Ave. in San Jose. Lots of great Japanese food from the northernmost island of Hokkaido, world-renowned for their delicious crab, seafood, ramen, and dairy products! Kanikosen bentou (crab, egg, and salmon roe over sushi rice), famed taraba crab, Heiseiken ramen, and lots of other tasty dishes and food will be on sale!

Steve, it should be all day. There's a big parking lot at Mitsuwa, but I don't know how full it'll be that day. I'm already drooling....

LOL, I always thought the name Shiroi Koibito was fishy... translates to "white lover"

BTW, small mistake: the Hokkaido Food Fair is also on Friday, not just Saturday and Sunday. So a total of 3 days for that one k?

Hope to see some familiar faces there :banana:
