let's go. any suggestions on locations and subject matter to shoot? we have to have a project in mind. we've done cars way too much. let's do something different and challenging.

something challenging does not have to be driving 150 miles and going all over the place. challenging can be something at someone's backyard or if we chip in and rent a studio or whatever. there are lots of different subjects we can shoot like food photography, product photography, macro, or even portraits.

I say we go on a little hike in pt reyes on a nice day. If you can't find 100 things to photograph there, you should toss ur camera out!

For something urban with a twist I'd suggest Lake Merritt in Oakland. Daytime, evening or night time are all good. There's the water, reflections, architecture, Children's Fairyland, the trestle area at the north end, birds - including pelicans! All the lights at night time.

I'd also be up for Pt. Reyes, but Lake Merritt is much closer to home for me!
