I'll second the Pyramid idea, but I'm out of town the next two weekends so it'd have to be a weeknight (for me at least). I'm not sure who else would want to meet up though. Rich? Greg? Either of the Bri(y)an's?

I know I definitely couldn't write a rally myself, but I've definitely got a few ideas for routes in and around the east bay. IIRC, I've also got all the route info. from the first 4 Seasons rallys if that helps.

So is your speed sensor one of the Hall Effect pickups, or is it the fancy one that goes on the wheel itself?

Either way, I'd be down for an install this weekend...but you know I don't live in Marin

How about next Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday (March 27 / 28 / 29) at Pyramid? Does 7pm work for most people? I'd have suggested tomorrow so we could celebrate Pete's Birthday ... but it's a bit short notice. Anyway, HAPPY BIRTHDAY Pete!

Brian - ALL of us are capable of writing a rally. Just pick your favourite drive / roads. We'll show you how to write it out, pick check points, measure it and presto you've written a rally!

That's great that you've got all the RI's from the original series - please bring them to the meeting!

Next Tuesday night is probably best for me, but I can be flexible. I'll dig up all the old rally info that I've got and bring it with.

Are you sure? that's great for rental cars and temporary use, but you really should go with the basic sending unit set-up depicted in the last image of:

I'm going to see Blue Oyster Cult for my birthday tomorrow, but any of the evenings mentioned next week would be good.

Yes I'm sure! I have both the EZ-Pulse (which I bought to use on the rental for the Bishop rallye right after my car was killed) and the Sending Unit. If I'm not mistaken, Greg is looking for an EZ-Pulse.

Greg & Silke,

Many, many thanks to both of you - your neighbour - for all your help with my car yesterday! Glad you guys can make it over here for the meeting this week. I'll let you know which day it turns out to be.

I'll only come to a meeting if it's on a weekend. Sorry, but that's how i roll. Week nights i'm in bed by 9pm and up at 4:30am. Just keep me in the loop. I'm up for anything, as long as it's on a weekend.
You guys may have noticed i'm hardly ever on i-club any more. I'm just sick to death of all the newbies etc.... I'm a "myspace" junkie these days.
Pete, give me a call if you need anything.
