You guys can keep up with the pack in a stock WRX... it's all driver, really. Just start towards the rear. The group will wait up for ya.

Ughhh....I'll be doing this completely stock...Maybe I can get Cliff to come along and we can keep each other company. Has anyone ever seen Cliff drive hard? I work with that guy and I've never seen him push his wagon.

sweet...we'll have a whole clan back there. haaa. I think picking up some new pads wouldn't be a bad idea for me either. I think I'm under 50% on stock pads right now.

Any recommendations people? Daily driver performance pads? They might see a track day though....well...probably will see a track day.

I might join you guys at the back of the pack.

I have only hit that road once coming from the other direction- and got stuck behind some lady in a rental car going 25 where I couldn't pass her.

I didn't come with you guys when you hit up Bear a little while back. I work with him at Costco. He's been busy with work stuff it seems. It's been busy and maybe his hours are getting long because of it. Anyway, I'll hopefully come to one of the meets soon and I'll try to bring him along.

I been wanting to drive on that road for a while, I just hope my OBS can keep pace with the back of the pack lol.

Oh yeah I'm running ES100 225/45/17 KYB Struts with Eibach Springs, sedan RSB, and whiteline endlinks.

yeah bring cliff out. It was really cool to have the opportunity to ride with him that weekend. It ended up being 6 of us and it was the PERFECT amount of people. On top of that we all ride at similar paces and had a great time. I showed them some really great riding...some good cooking...some good driving and they got to laugh at me talking to myself and burning the crap out of my hand. We plan to do it a couple times next year.

But yeah bring him out. He's good people.

So my mission to prep for this drive. new pads. Front end links. new RSB. Sedan bar isn't cutting it with the spec C set up. not big enough. was perfect with the stock suspension. but my car is pushing like mad now. Boo I hate plow.

at that on to the body work/paint/motor work on my caddy and I have a busy month. haaa.
