So the water main on Couch/Broadway street in Vallejo burst today... and our parking lot got flooded. Some cars had 6 inches of water in them. Mach I Motorcycles had 8 inches of water inside.
And units were being dispatched code 3 back to the station to save their cars from the flood. I rushed back to the station and found my car in 3 inches of water... like 5 more minutes and it would have been in my doors...
I ran through the field, hoped a chain link fence, sprinted to my car, made my way through the water, opened the doors and took my boots of so I wouldn't get it wet. Then threw the boots to dry ground and moved my car before the current got in it...
