yeah my dr told me to stop running a couple years back becuase it pulls on your joints.. i also have arthritis so that might really be the reason he told me running on hard surfaces is the reason im so messed up.

Don't buy into mass media!!!
Well each to their own I guess but I personally follow it because when I feel like complete **** I don't work out. You can do HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) which leads to greater fat loss and preserves more muscle also if you take certain suplements like whey it will preserve your muscles during the workout and not force your body to use it as fuel.

I like how this last page has turned into a health and wellness page

Do not take suplements!!!!! Trust me. I took enough to know that any gainis quickly lost. If you are worried about loosing some more inches, use the cycles and elipticals. They are low impact and as long as you are in your target heart rate (150-160) you will get a max cardio workout.

Well I say don't bother with the high priced big named no gain supplements. You can take stuff like fish oil, green tea, caffiene, carnitine, whey, forksolin, CLA and a few minor things that are fairly inexpensive, effective, are safe, and actually improve your health (like the green tea and fish oil especially)

Multi-vitamin and good healthy eating is all I use. I took steroids for awhile way back in the day, so I'm not anti-supplement. Just broke

i was able to lose a lot of weight from running alone. i lost 60 lbs from running 3-4 times a week.

i have now changed my workout routine though. i run 2 days a week and lift 3 days now.

diet was a really key factor to, but i wouldn't say my diet is great. i still drink so much it cancels out eating healthy. ray can vouch for that hah.
