well ricky there are lots of theories.
basically we get looked at by our productivity.
whether it be self initiated contacts, or dispatched calls.
as long as were doing SOMETHING.... we dont get in trouble.
now the problem with CHP is... they dont have nearly as many dispatched calls as we do, so they get bored, and think they rule the road, and pull over easy targets like modified cars...

He's got a badge, a gun, and a squad car...while I'm on base I'm on my BEST behavior
Side note.... I'm hatching a scheme to get back into a turbo subaru again. It won't be an STi though since I found out insurance will RAPE me for 4k no matter where I go then on top of that the car payments
Let's just say I may be going back to my roots

Comin' from a Ex-SF guy; you would say something like that. . .
I always ask, what does it take to be a real LEO?
Getting shot? I've been shot in the chest twice/ thank god for my vest. 2 different instances in germany.
Shooting? Once here at Travis with a guy and shot gun, more than a few times in iraq. . . .
One thing that I do agree is that; SF's are the only ones not certified outside the military. If you name it, mechanics, IT, Medics, Fire, HVAC, Loadmasters, Pilots are. . .
AND THAT IS WHY I'M GETTING OUT!
