Ah, about the tune. Since I have an electric cut-out valave on my car, Mike had to use the o2 sensor bung that was on top of the downpipe head, but the screw wouldn't come out. He tried to unscrew it but couldn't take it off so I had to go home and unscrew it myself. I did it easily :/
At least Mike gave me a base map to run off of. I was doing 10 mpg with the car, haha.
So I have to reschedule for a tune again. Everything is fine though.

I'd say go see Sgt. Momna in Vacaville (he's the same recruiter I'm seeing right now) and he's a really great laid back guy, but I know if you're going reserves you gotta see a reservist recruiter.
I'm pretty sure Mike wouldn't pencil someone in on the weekend for nothing, and try to remove the screw for nothing either because sometimes they can be dead set on there and the next person comes along and can easily remove it...we've all been there. I wasn't there to speculate obviously, but at least he gave Jon a basemap to work off of for the time being.

I think you mean TD04? TD05s are mitsubishi turbos like the 16Gs and stuff. I'm sure there's a reason why one tuner would get you more power than another. Most tuners will error on the side of caution rather than risking a few more hp/tq for safety. Your car is fairly stock, stock injectors, turbo, fuel pump so its a possibility he didn't want to tap out the stock fuel system and risk it becomming dangerously lean for the sake of a few #s.

I dunno what ya'll are talking about. Moike tuned my last WRX to perfection. This was when he was at GB Motorsports with Gino. Put out some 325whp from road tuning, and he kept the tune tip top since it was with a UTEC...
...Then again, this was about 4 years ago.
