haha yeah I should buy a turbo manifold, ecu, turbo and custom everything myself.....err or I can save up and buy my suv

I'm not ****ing doing it again! lol

It went by pretty smoothly actually. The hardest part was taking out 1 bolt thats on the GBOD (pass. side) located RIGHT behind the breather cap. Everything is running great and going smoothly. Everything else I just took my time and didn't rush it. PB blaster is also your friend!

God damn my hands were horribly sore the next day and yes I do have a bunch of cuts on my hand...maybe I should have worn my gloves

I do feel VERY accomplished since this is the biggest task I've done on my car by myself too! Also after the install has been done keep an eye on coolant temps/levels (you'll have to add more coolant/water since you'll loose some from the turbo removal), oil level (I changed mine prior to installing the new turbo), and of course make sure there are no fuel leaks for a few days and all should be well! So far everything is running well and should be fine since I'm doing easily 40-50miles a day on my car and it's been fine.

wELL actually make sure there are no fuel leaks RIGHT after the install because you don't want to burn ur car down! waiting a few days maybe too late....I know if Alan or Daryl never noticed the injectors leaking I would of burned my old car down a long time ago!!! hahah I still remember daryl saying "hey ray do u smell that?" I was like smell what? hahah My sense of smell isn't very strong hahaha

 

Yep yep. I'd suggest you install the fuel pump when you get some free time. It doesn't take any longer than an hour taking your time and its all plug n play PLUS you don't need to tune it after install so its one less thing to install when it comes time for the turbo install.

Well of course check it right away lol. I checked it right after install...used a can of compressed air to get rid of any excess fluid and then ran it for a minute to make sure no leaks were occuring and everything has been great! I've been monitoring the engine bay for 2days now and everything has been fine. It doesn't hurt to keep an eye on it.
