[QUOTE=OrangeDot3083]You need to just replace the water pump and see where that takes you. If you warped any of the heads or block you will start to burn more oil then normal and that is when you really need to get rid of it.

I agree you might not have to spend all your money and still get some life out of your car

dont give up so easy steven. 92,000 miles is not alot for an N/A car. Like sam and john said it might not be anything that major. I had a problem with overheating awhile back. all i had to do was tighten the t-clamp refill with coolant and it was fixed. I'm not saying thats what you have, but it could be something that simple.

plus if you get rid of your gc lorin and i will have the only old school subarus.

I had an over heating problem too. i first flushed the system to see if it was clogged. it wasn't. then the thermostat. not the problem either. it ended up being the water pump. no water was moving. but for my car they have to drop the right side of my motor. so it wasn't cheap.

im taking it to my dads friend at classic auto in napa and he's the type that will say this is what it is, this is how you fix it. do you want to try first or have me do it for the scrill?! all is good though, we can usually trade him out for stuff...and hes one of the must trustworthy mechanics i have ever met. ill let you all know how it turns out. hell i might get to drive to the meet!
lorins car is a little louder now and mine is a little quiter haha

I might be able to help you but I have a prior up in Davis. If I get done early I will give you a call. Do I have your number? I forget. You did not change it did you?

Dude I love the drawing. That would make one hell of a sticker. Did you do that?
