Kinda wish I coulda gone, but I didn't want to end up like that guy. He's ok and all, aside from his car being flipped.

First and foremost, i'd like to thank everyone who was able to come out and made this meet a really epic davis one. everyone was awesome, friendly, and i couldnt ask for a better attitude from you guys. also greatly appreciate everyones cooperation to make the outcome of this meet possible. it was fun, i kno i had a good time and i kno you guys did too. for those who wasnt able to make the drive, it was good that you guys got out and we were able to kick it afterwards, and beer pong (phil and his friend, sorry man i forgot your name, it was a crazy night, we all knew that hahaha)
aside from the accident that no body would wish to happen, end of the meet came out nicely. was a lot of fun this weekend and im glad i was able to plan this for you guys, and thanks to those who helped with the BBQ and drive planning, im not gonna say any names so no one will be able to be left out. HAHA thats my trick. but yea, you guys know who you are, thanks a lot. lets do it again next time!!
oh, and thanks to those who posted pictures. please post high res of the pics because i assure you that ppl will want them, i know i do. hopefully there were a couple grabs of my car lol. but yea, i must have high res pics.
and pardon me if anything sounded repetitive because i just woke up from a hard night or partying lol.
yes we are, me and alex will start brainstorm and start from there. i will keep you updated. and thanks for the early support already.

Thanks to those who organized the meet & drive. It was quite a large group, so hard to keep together with traffic, lights, etc, but the route was fairly straightforward, and regrouping helps. I got a few pics up @ http://www.flickr.com/photos/we3poll...7618974802775/
Ivan - sorry to see your STi turtle like that. Keep us posted on the aftermath - whether you buy the car back from the ins co for the salvage & part out the pieces I know ppl here on the group want. I'm down for any kind of fundraiser we can do to help make up whatever ins doesn't cover so you can get up on 4 wheels again. Also, if you need any pics for the ins, you can grab them from my post @ flickr - just use the "All Sizes" link to get the hi-res.
I peeled off around Davis & headed for home, and I think Cory did, too. Nice to see another wagon in the group. I noticed we had another WRB wagon following us for a bit on 80, but he didn't want to keep up for long.
Here's a teaser of some of the pics I got with my little Canon point-and-shoot:
I haven't joined rs25, so if someone who's on both boards wants to copy this & paste it to the other board where it looks like more of this thread is going on, please feel free... or just link the post/thread...
Thanks,
Aaron in Yuba City

Thanks - that's mine. White rims were harder to find, but I figured I'd give it a try. I like the contrast - white paint & rims, black tires & trim. The window tint helps set off the contrast, too. Looks good, has a few mods, but still saving up & continuing to make changes that make sense until I have enough on there for a Cobb stage 2. For now, I'm putting away $$ for Paul to do a Stage 1 custom tune until I get the rest of the parts to complete a stage 2 tune.
Cheers,
Aaron
