who's gone from WRX to LGT?

I doubt it for you. I'm only 6'0'' and can't stretch my legs straight. I have to put cruise control on and strectch my legs behind the pedals or to the side of them. I'm only in an L though, I doubt there's much difference with the GT. Go to the dealer and sit in one.

The back seat has more leg room when compared to the WRX, so you may be able to scoot the seat back as far as possible.

I don't know if that'll give you enough room in front of the pedals for yourself, and a lot of people are complaining about the lack of room in the footwell. I don't have a problem. I'm 5'10" but I have short legs (my pant length is optimally 29"-30") so I don't notice the cramps others are.

Well, with 9K miles anyway. Just love it. Only regret is a little, little more body roll than the WRX. But, so much more in many more ways.
