Replacing headgasket on 95 Legacy L?

Replacing headgasket on 95 Legacy L?
Okay. My Legacy keeps overheating and I'm pretty sure that it is the head gasket. It looks like coolant is coming out of the gasket, and I can't afford to take it to a mechanic. I'm going to get a compression test to make sure, but can anyone give me information to replace it? Thank you
