05 Legacy Sedans
I'm reasearching a new car purchase finally after dumping too much $$$ into a old truck. I'm torn between the 2.5 GT manual and the 3.0R Outback. If I got the 2.5GT first thing I'd do is lift it and run the Outback wheels/tires. Then I'd be finnished till the warranty is up. If I got the 3.0R I'd be searching for any possible way to get a 5-6spd in it once its out of warranty. Is it possible to bolt up a manual trans from say the WRX STi to the 3.0?
My main concern is something NEW that I won't have to dump $$$ in every couple of months just to keep it running. The reason Subaru keeps coming to mind is awd since I do like to camp+fish in somewhat remote areas.
Also can someone post pics of any 3.0R Outback sedans? Thanks alot
