WRX upgrade headlight bulbs
I would like to upgrade the OEM halogen headlight bulbs in my 2002 WRX. I would like brighter light that will illuminate further down the road on high beam and throw a nice spread of light on low beam. I do not want to install new headlights. Any suggestions?

I'd recommend either the Sylvania Silverstars or the Xtravisions. The piaa's look nice but they'll last you about 6 months before they burn out and I for sure would stay away from those ricey bulbs like the Hypers, they'll give you a blue look, but reduce lighing significantly.

I'm running the Silverstars also, and I've used the ricey bulbs when I had my civic and there's no comparison. For the money, I can't find anything better than the Silverstars. I've seen the Xtravisions on an RS and they don't give off as white a light, but they really help for visability. If you're thinking of replacing the fogs, I'd recommend the Hella Yellow Stars, you can get them for under 20 shipped. Hope that helps.
