Wings West body kit install help!!!
I'm ordering a Wings West body kit and I need some expert advice on whether to install it myself or have someone else do it. I've already had mixed reviews but not from any experts. And a side question, does the body shop that paints the kit also sand it etc....

wings west lips are easy to install..they come pre-taped and
comes with mounting screws. you can even paint it yourself if you get the right basecoat (adhesion promotor) and matching paint and have a steady hand.
check out perfectmatch.com
but if you dont know how to paint, etc, let a bodyshop
install it for you. yah, they will sand it to paint, but if you
want perfect fitment, you should test fit it yourself and
sand it to your preference before sending it out.

I just got my car back from the body shop a few days ago. I had them paint it because I saw worried that if I did it myself, I might have runs (the shop did and is re-painting it Monday)
I was also concerned about the quality difference between a spraybomb and a pro shop's gun.
I noticed that when I get in & out my legs touch the side skirts. So I wouldn't want to skim on the paint there.
I also had the shop permanantly bond the kit to the car with urethane, them fill the seam with urethane, then paint it up.
P.S. I had the whole car sprayed to perfectly match the colour, and I picked a slightly darker blue.
