(window) tints affect radio?

tints affect radio?
hey im just curious if anyone else has experience with this.. i got tints on my car 35% sides and 20% back window.. now when i listen to am or fm it has a weird alien radio sound in the background that is rather loud.. anyone else who got tints have this affect from it? maybe its unrelated but its weird the day i got tints this started.

i didnt ask for a non-metallic tint didnt know i needed to haha. and yeah my antenna is in the rear window. that sucks.. all i really do is listen to am 910...and that is unbarable.

but if your antenna is external to the vehicle (like my old 02 wrx), then it should not be an issue.
my 04 STi has the leads in the rear glass.
i specifically told the installer no metallic tint film...

I had the same problem when I tinted my rear windows..Heres how I fixed the problem..pop the trunk and locate the antenna wire under the rear window, splice that wire so you can add another speaker wire to it, and finally you just ground the wire you just added on and you're done...

if you are going to this this, make the wire around 31" long. 31" picks up the middle of the FM band.
