Where to pick up a quart of subaru paint? Looking to airbrush.

Where can I pick up a quart of subaru paint?

Some guy ripped me a new scratch on the side bumper. Anyways, Im looking to airbrush. Where can I pick up a quart of subaru paint? Looking for an online store rather than the dealer store (because its usually cheaper)

The touch up paint is too small for this job, so Im going to need a bit more.

(Diablo Subaru in Walnut Creek Parts department just brushed me off and told me to go to a body shop. Grr... )

Any kind of info would be great!

Thanks,

- Ulysses

I bought a pint of paint from my body shop for about 60 bucks. The paint is mixed by dupont and its a perfect match. The thing is, it needs to be thinned out with thinner not industrial paint thinner but the thinner from autobody shops. with that pint, you should be able to spray one side of the car.

Nice, which body shop did you go to that uses Subaru Paint?
The thing is i have the Sedona Red Pearl (94H) and not the more common Blue or Black cars.

$60 for a pint? Ouch, that is a lot more than i thought it would be. I was hoping to find some WRBlue paint as well to eventually get my sideskirts painted. I know somebody who would have painted them for me for $50, as long as i provided the paint. I might as well, just take the skirts to a local body shop and have them provide the paint.

First of all you are in luck, I am in the bay area and know a place. Call up Peninsula Color in Oakland. They are the place that the body shops go to get their paint, they have good prices and have PPG. Also, please never EVER go back to Diablo Mazda Subaru in Walnut Creek. They are *******s, have no idea what they are talking about , and rip people off.
