Where to get a Scoop Hood...
Christ, I've called a million and one chop shops and looked at 20,000 different websites that only give me the option to build my own hood. I need to find a scoop hood with side scoops thats pre-built, such as the stock hoods on impreza wagons. Any help would be appreciated, thanks. My car is a 96' subaru impreza wagon, 2.2L.

In other words, you want an RS/OBS hood.
It's not cheap or easy, but you can collect the parts from various sources out there. Hood from a guy switching to carbon fiber, scoops/vents from someone upgrading to a different type, headlamps and grille used...it's possible, but a bit of a jigsaw puzzle. To buy the parts new is incredibly expensive, and junkyards will only want to sell you a complete front for $1500+.
Did it to mine:

To me it sounds like you are looking to do what I would like with my 96' Outback.
I want the sport hood with the scoop. I was told to either just uy the whole sport hood and it will fit perfectly, or go to a local junkyard and hope...

whoa! thanks man, that link helped a million...how much was the cost on the final product? and yes, i have recently noticed that parts for a 96' impreza are impossible, because aftermarket upgraded didnt begin until 97.....sheesh. That hood and car is beautiful though man....i was thinking of investing in a little sedan and reach the RS as well...but dropped back and hit up with the wagon.(more for my needs) thanks agian!

The answer to that question is a little complicated, since I horse traded quite a bit and it was a year ago that I started collecting the pieces, but here's what is more-or-less correct:
Hood + scoop $175
Vents 50
Drain pans 50
Headlights 200
Grille free (lightly damaged)
Then there were the hood insulator pad clips and painting, that was probably another $150 or so (and I got a favor from one of my business associates). So as you can see, it's not cheap. But the new pieces would be twice that, if you can believe it. Still cheaper than an RS.
I also have a damage MY00 front bumper with fogs to get painted and put on, the bumper cover being a 'educational project' by a repair instructor. When it's finished I'll add that to the car too.
All of the pieces bolt on; there's no alteration required. One of the great thing about Subarus.
