where to get OEM gauge cluster (was: Dealer overpriced)
#1
Dealer overpriced
so my speedometer has stopped working.
from searching the forum the consensus was a faulty sensor, but i have a feeling that isnt it. The speedometer will go back to the right speed (from stuck at a random speed) after being hit on the cluster.
Brought it to the dealer and they said they would need to replace the entire cluster and it would cost about $750.
Any ideas?? thanks in advance

Check out SubaruParts.com. Give them a call to see if you can order just the speedo portion of the cluster, or barring that, how much they would charge for the whole thing. Be prepared to do the work yourself and pick up the specific shop manual for your model year or pay the fee and download the set from Subaru.
