The ones in the picture are the Subaru STi JDM HID headlights, are are REALLY expensive. I've seen them for over two thousand dollars. The chrome housing is how you know they are the HID. Subaru also makes a non-HID head light that runs in the 700 to 800 dollar range. it is the same design as the one in you pic, but the housing is not chrome, but black. these lights are the ones most people use because they are so much cheaper.

Now, in the black housing design, there are two types to choose from. there are the JDM (japanese) and the EDM (european) STi lights. the JDM head lights have a beam pattern that works better if you drive on the left side of the road like in Japan and England. the JDM bean pattern shines more light on the left side of the road.

The EDM head lights have a beam pattern that work better if you drive on the right side of the road, like the rest of the world. The EDM beam pattern lights up the right side of the road better and dont blind on comming traffic.

You can aim the JDM lights a little lower to try no to shine too much light in the direction of oncomming traffic, thats what most people do.

If you want the chrome housing head lights, your going to have to pay up... or you can get the EDM or JDM lights and install an aftermarket HID kit, and still be ahead about 800 dollars.

yeah, i peeped the web site. i really think there is NO way that they are selling the chrome housing head lights at that price. i think they got a picture of the chorme housing head lights, but are selling the regular head lights. e mail them or call them to clarify before you buy. if they sell the chrome housing head lights at that price i will sell my EDM STi lights right now!!!
