USDM STI Seats vs JDM Seats?

USDM STI Seats vs JDM Seats?
Ok, I did a search and all I can find is a bunch of people selling their USDM STI seats and replacing them with JDM STI seats.

So what's the difference? Are the JDM versions that much more comfortable? Are the US versions that bad? I have Outback park bench seats so anything would be better.

they are narrower and fit smaller people better. i can give more info when my seats come in next week. only bad thing is , for the price you can get nice recaros or other aftermarket seat.

usdm seats are made for "fat americans" so the bolstering is less and they are a bit wider. the jdm seats hold you in a lot better

Aren't the seat adjustment controls backward if you install JDMs?

The first thing I noticed when I sat in the US STi seats was how wide they were....... I had JDM Integra recaros in my teg and they held soo much closer/better. I almost swapped them in. GO GO overweight american demographics!!!!

I assume that the seats are specific to right/left side, not driver/passenger specific.
