thanks for the info. naw, i dont want my turnsignals blinking fast like those out-dated rice mobiles. hehehe.
i found some raybrigs that are silver and light up amber too...
if i can just find out the size number.
1157 seems to be the one.
1156 looks like it, but the lower prongs stick out
from the wrong area.
btw, is there anyway to take off the headlight from
the car without taking out the 9007 bulb? i took the
headlight off on one side to pull out the turn signal
bulb tonight and noticed that it looks like i have to
take out the 9007 to fully separate the headlight
from the car.....

1157 is a 1156 but with dual filament, so its used for applications such as brake lights. 1156 is used for the signals cause there's no need for dual filament.
the rear turn signals are 7507 which is the same as 1156 except the prongs are different.
the parking lights are 194 iirc.

nqwan- thanx for the info! yah, i was looking at this site
last night after I posted and read something about the single and dual filiment. now it all makes sense.
yep, i will dremel that thing off on one side, no problem...
now to the question on taking the headlights apart...
I read scoobymods but its somewhat not 100% clear. after
heating the surrounding plastic, I yank on the area that the
clips are held together, right? not the area that meets the
clear lense portion of the housing.
thanx... oh, and if there is anyway to take off the 9007bulb
from the harness without taking the 9007 out from the headlight
housing, i would like to know too.
so many q's, thanks very much for your guys support.
