Trunk totally soaked after rain...please help !!

Trunk totally soaked after rain...please help !!

Looking for some advice on a little problem I'm having...
After we had a few days of rain, I noticed everything in my trunk is totally soaking wet. I pulled everything out of the trunk except the spare tire. The cover for the tire was soft and mildewy, as was the carpet. I also noticed drips and general wetness on the roof of the trunk lid, and the rear window has condensation right near the bottom, where it meets the trunk.
Comments, suggestions? any help would be appreciated !!!

Your back window is leaking! That is my guess, if window is still good they can pull out and reseal it. Good luck.......

Is it the stock trunk?

get new weather sealing if it is

Yes, the stock trunk. Could be the sealing, could be both. I noticed at the very bottom edge of the window is some sort of dried apoxy or something. I'll probably have both the window redone and the sealing...thanks !!!

I swapped tail lights on my OBS and had issues with water leaking in through the old seal.

have you removed your tail lights at all?

No...but i think its more than that...the water was dripping off the roof of the trunk lid when i opened it and the entire trunk was soaked. The car was also parked with the rear pointed downhill overnight in the heavy rain....maybe this has something to do with it?

Brought it to an auto glass place. Back window is comming off to be re-sealed, tail lights to be re-sealed and spoiler to be re-sealed...and he said dont park *** pointed down a hill in a huge rainstorm. We'll see what happens.

Same thing happened to me. One of the bolts holding the wing to the trunk broke and soaked everything. I only noticed because the mildew smell and I can't seem to get rid of that now.....

I have the same issue and can't find out were it's coming from. It's dripping from under where all the holes are. I think it's a window sealing thing also cuz it happens when water piles up in the water passage like parking on a hill faced down.
