Subaru Emblems

so i just took her in for the 15k tune up, and whilst at the dealer, i happened to pick up a brosure of subaru accesories. in it (besides STi t-shirts, which are rad) was an alternate emblem, the "subaru i emblem" that i suppose you could purchase to replace your stock star swoosh emblem. anyone know what the 'i' stands for, or anything at all about this emblem? is it a special emblem for 'i'mprezas??:banana:

the "i" stands for "impreza"

its an optional badge on the jdm imprezas.

I ordered mine from my dealer, you can look up the part # on the Subaru website, under 'accesories' I think.

$25 for the cheapest little plastic POS! Looks cool, but what a rip off...

The installation is no big deal. The emblems are stuck on so all you have to do is get something sharp and it will come right off.

it was 157 plus the STi keychain i bought

and the cost of the oil so all told, just under $200. but, i got free wiper blades and they tightened up my parking brake without me having to ask them to look at it. not a bad experience, on the whole.
