Subaru emblem on the grill

Subaru emblem on the grill
how do i remove this? i have the grill painted but when i was painting it, i got some paint on it even though it was covered. I want to replace it with a new emblem, but dont know how i should go about doing so without ruining the paint...

Some folks use fishing line that they manage to work behind the lip of the badge. Just use the line to cut through the double-sided tape that holds the badge to the grill. Here's a page on ScoobyMods.com that mentions another method. I think Kastle has a GC8 but the procedure is the same:

front grill badge removal
i did mine a few weeks back. i took a hair dryer, put it on low heat and warmed up the badge for a few minutes. this loosens up the sticky two sided thick 'tape' that holds the badge on. then i took a small regular screwdriver (or dull butter knife) with dull edges and pried in between the badge edge and trim around the badge. once you get an edge up a bit, use the hairdryer a bit more to help it out. DON'T RUSH IT.
