stripped jdm headlight adjustment screw
i was using an 8mm wrench to turn the adjustment screw/nut when one turn not fully locked onto the adjustment screw stripped it. Now i can't get the white little plastic screw to turn anymore. is there a way i can fix this? I tried to use a philips to turn the gear teeth instead but i popped something and the gear teeth won't turn anymore =(.
I'm trying to lower the beam significantly since it is aimed way high after I adjusted the driver's side headlights moreto the right. It seems like when I was shifting the beam towards the right, the beam pattern was raising. Is this normal? Shouldn't it just be going to the right instead of raising?
any help appreciated about the stripped plastic white hex nut. thanks
